A low-cholesterol diet is a balanced diet where it limits food choices to only those with little or no cholesterol at all. It is a diet intended for a person so that his or her cholesterol intake is not more than 300mg per day. A person advised to lower his or her cholesterol levels will benefit much from a vegetarian diet.

In April, 2009, there was an outbreak of Hepatitis A in our city. Almost everyday, the local radio listeners were bombarded of the news on how many people got contaminated and the extent of epidemic . Unfortunately, I was one of those who had the disease, along with seven (7) more who also seemed to have contracted it inside our workplace. What is Hepatitis A and its dangers? What are the symptoms? How do we get it?

My previous article deals with “How to Live With Depression”. It is stated in the article that depression affects all age groups and all races. It is the doctor who can accurately diagnose such disorder because he or she may perform physical examination and other tests to the patient. However, experts believe that the earlier we recognize warning signs of depression, the better for the depressed individual, because he or she can immediately get medical attention.

Such is today’s advancement which concerns every parent on how to find ways to monitor and limit their child’s too much exposure to this kind of play. Will there be effective ways in which a child can be encouraged to take “time off” from all these games of modern-day technologies?

The term “phobias”, is derived from Greek word “phobos” which means “fear”. Psychiatrists are saying that phobias often are just off-shoots from one incident of intense fear or painful nature, or shall we say a traumatic experience that has been ingrained too deeply to the person’s unconscious mind. However, the big question is, CAN PHOBIAS BE HEALED? What should be some steps in order to help the one with this problem?
